Jimmy Ng

Technical Director

Jimmy Ng is HTC’s Technical Director. He plays a key role in ensuring that the technical expertise and knowledge of his teams meet the company’s goals and strategies. He also emphasizes the importance of analysing what the market needs from talking to clients or various prospects, and envisions possible future goals and strategies for HTC.

As a leader and an overseer of HTC’s technical division, Jimmy constantly works at instilling his determined and tireless spirit in his people because he envisions a team of capable staff, working together in systems analysis, design and development, sharing knowledge and skills with one another.

Jimmy joined HTC in 1990 and has since held senior leadership roles in various projects undertaken by the company. In his early years, he had been instrumental in the computerization projects for large organizations like Sime Darby, Felda and Intan. In 2000, although challenged by the constraints of time and high-risked nature, Jimmy led his team and successfully completed a Y2K project for a Hong Kong-based tour company. In more recent years, he had conquered computerization challenges for banks, especially in the areas of interconnectivity.

Prior to joining HTC, Jimmy was working as an analyst programmer in another locally-based IT company.

Jimmy earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph, Canada.
