When Harres Tan founded our company in 1989, he saw opportunity where others saw complexity: Malaysia's emerging RDBMS market was uncharted territory, but one with immense potential. His vision established us as pioneers, quickly expanding beyond Malaysia to serve over 150 customers throughout Southeast Asia.
During the Asian Financial Crisis, when many technology companies were retreating, Harres made a pivotal decision. Rather than pulling back, he directed our expertise toward helping banks digitize their overwhelming paper records. This decision not only sustained our growth during challenging times but laid the foundation for our future in banking technology.
